EL3: Hamilton keeps control in Abu Dhabi

McLaren confirms its good performance in Abu Dhabi by once again taking the best time in the last free practice session before qualifying. If the pilots Red Bull showed good performance with the medium tires, Lewis Hamilton made an impression by improving the benchmark time for the weekend (1:38:976). Sebastian Vettel is the closest to the Briton but the 2011 world champion was hampered by traffic and finished 4 tenths behind the McLaren driver. His teammate Mark Webber and Jenson Button (McLaren) were the same behind at the end of the session.

Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) places his F150° Italia in 5th position (+ 0??685). Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) follows him 1??159 behind. The German precedes Felipe Massa (+ 1??207). Force India still posted decent performances, Adrian Sutil setting the 8th time (+1??453) ahead of his teammate Paul di Resta (+1??535). Michael Schumacher (Mercedes) completes the top ten with 1 seconds behind.

Qualifying for the Abu Dhabi GP will take place from 14 p.m.
