Error accepted for Romain Grosjean

After Marcus Ericsson exited on lap seven with his Caterham at turn 3, the safety car was deployed, and the majority of drivers chose to dive into the pit lane to switch to slick tires. But the “fresh” track of the Hungaroring, maintaining the temperature of these tires was essential, which caused the loss of Romain Grosjean, made a mistake alone behind the Safety Car in the same place as Ericsson a few moments earlier.

“We did not finish today's race which is very disappointing, explains the Frenchman. The conditions on the circuit this afternoon were very delicate. Pastor Maldonado finished in 13th place, not without hitting Jules Bianchi's Marussia and causing a puncture for the Frenchman.
