Ferrari 2011, code name 288

Ferrari will present its 2011 single-seater at the end of January. A single-seater which has no official name and whose code name is 288.

Ferrari 2011, code name 288

Ferrari has not yet revealed the name of his car 2011. In the other teams, the sequence of numbers follows its course: McLaren goes from MP4-25 to MP4-26, Lotus Renault from R30 to R31, etc. But, at Ferrari, the name of the single-seater is still a well-kept secret.

After the 60 F2009 and the F10 of 2010, Ferrari has not yet revealed the name of its 2011 car. For the moment, it has the code name 288. It will be named and revealed at the end of January in Maranello, before the departure for Valencia and the first tests of pre-season, starting February 1. Currently, mechanics and engineers are working on the first chassis, before the drivers can hit the track in February.
