Ferrari summoned on Friday for review of Vettel penalty

It will be tomorrow, Friday June 21, “the longest day of the year”, that the representatives of the Team Ferrari will have the opportunity to make their voice heard before the commissioners for the review of the penalty Sebastian Vettel in Canada.

The German received a 5″ penalty for returning to the track in a manner deemed dangerous against Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), after passing through the grass at turn 4. A sanction which caused the Ferrari driver to lose the race.

Last Monday, the Italian team officially confirmed its request for review of the penalty, a hearing being held in the stewards' room at Paul Ricard tomorrow at 14:15 p.m., with the presence of Emanuele Pirro and the other stewards of the Canadian Grand Prix.
