Ferrari wants to confirm at Silverstone

Closest pursuer of the Mercedes Nico Rosberg's W06 Hybrid, dominant today in Great Britain, at the end of the first day of testing, Kimi Räikkönen logically sees the beginnings of satisfaction.

However, the 2007 world champion believes he still has progress to make, particularly with regard to the hard tires, brought this weekend by the manufacturer of the F1 Pirelli. « The medium tire seems ok, while it's more difficult with the hard rubber. I don't know why I struggled a bit with this, but I don't know if it was specific to this particular set of tires or if the compound itself is trickier here. We need to improve and try to make everything simpler. » admits the Finn

Sebastian Vettel will want to build on this promising day, despite a few imperfections remaining to be erased on its car. “We had no problems with the car and we more or less completed everything we wanted to do. However, I'm not completely satisfied with the car yet. Some of the things we tried were good and some not so much. Now we have to make sure we have only the best things on the car tomorrow. Then, I hope, we can take a step forward. Anything can happen tomorrow and our main opponents will certainly be very strong, but if we can confirm today's result, that would be a good thing. »
