FI requests his return to FOTA

Force India has been excluded from FOTA for having applied for the next World Championship of F1 without reservation unlike the eight stables remaining in the association.

Vijay Mallya explained his decision before the start of the Turkish Grand Prix: “As in all professions, you need the support of banks to move forward. And their support stops if our commitment is not accepted. We studied the issue with our lawyers and decided to submit our application unconditionally. However, we share the same ideas as FOTA. I had to do it for the good of the team and its staff. Our only goal is to be in F1. »

The Indian therefore asked his counterparts to re-invite Force India to the FOTA table: “I would appreciate them reviewing their position. If it wasn?t the case, it wouldn?t keep me from sleeping. »

Force India is the only team yet to have scored points in 2009.
