Force India starts well at the Nürburgring

Adrian Sutil narrowly missed out on points at Silverstone, finishing in eleventh place at the British GP. With the German competing in his national Grand Prix this weekend, a positive result would be a real joy for him and his team. The first tests on Friday allow for optimism, Adrian Sutil having set the tenth time when Paul di Resta, who was discovering the German track, was credited with the 12th time.

The developments made to the VJM 04 are positive for Adrian Sutil, even if the German experienced some problems. “I suffered from understeer car in both sessions and we will work to correct this problem”, comments the German. “We managed to find some improvements. The morning's plan was to test the new front wing and everything worked well. We focused more on the set-up for the race yesterday afternoon, notably testing the tires on long runs. »

Paul di Resta is also satisfied with his car, as he discovered the Nürburgring circuit yesterday at the wheel of a F1. “This is my first time on the Grand Prix circuit at the Nürburgring, above all I had to find the speed and confidence on the track. From the start, the car's behavior has been effective, particularly in fast corners. We tried to improve the performance of the car in slow corners and stability under braking. Generally speaking, the car works well and it is a good basis to work on for the future. »
