Force India confident for the Italian GP

If Force India's result at the Belgian GP was mixed, with a 5th place for Sergio Pérez and a retirement of Nico Hulkenberg, the VJM08s showed great performances on the fast circuit of the Belgian Ardennes. The Indian team is therefore confident for the Italian GP contested this September 5 in Monza where theThe characteristics of the track should also suit its single-seaters.

“Monza is a real power circuit and we go there thinking of being competitive.”, announced Sergio Pérez. “It’s never easy to overtake and strategic choices are limited, so you have to do the work in qualifying. You simply have to be at full speed in the race and successfully brake. I feel good in the new version of the car. Spa was my most comfortable race of the season and it showed in the results. »

Nico Hülkenberg shares the Mexican's feeling even if the German had less success during the previous event. “The nature of the route should allow us to perform well there. This is an opportunity for us to score a lot of points. I experienced an exciting race there in 4 (2013th) and I would like to relive an identical weekend. We saw what the VJM5 was capable of in the last few events and we should be able to move into the top ten again.”, commented the last winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans who made the trip last weekend to the Nürburgring to attend the WEC race.
