Force India wants to keep Fisichella

Giancarlo Fisichella, second in the Belgian Grand Prix, is at the center of the transfer which is most agitating the transalpine media. Ferrari, who has decided to do without the services of Luca Badoer, wishes to install Giancarlo Fisichella in his seat for the Italian Grand Prix. But, under contract with Force India, the Italian driver could be blocked by his boss. Vijay Mallya also declared that the departure of Physical for the Scuderia was only speculation and that he was counting on his driver for the next races. There is no doubt that his performance at Spa-Francorchamps earned him extra credit in the paddock and with the owner of his team.

Vijay Mallya, while he cannot deny that Giancarlo Fisichella is of interest to Ferrari, claims to be unaware of any concrete maneuver. “ I can't say anything because Ferrari didn't come to see me, nor did Fisichella. His manager did not contact me. This is all just speculation. (?) I'm sure he (Fisichella) is proud and happy with his performance in Belgium, as well as the car we gave him to drive. »

Pending a possible departure of Giancarlo Fisichella to Ferrari for the last races of the season, Vitantonio Liuzzi is ready to take over. But, at the same time, Luca Badoer says he is convinced that he will ride at Monza. Ferrari should communicate within the week to formalize its choice.
