Gutiérrez penalized for German GP

Esteban Gutiérrez receives a new penalty after the British Grand Prix where the Sauber driver retired. The stewards imposed a sanction of three places on the grid of the German GP contested on July 20 at Hockenheim for his collision with the Lotus of Pastor Maldonado.

If the damage was minimal, the accident was impressive since the Venezuelan took off all four wheels when the Mexican hit him at the Club corner. The Sauber driver had to retire a few meters later after damaging his front wing. The FIA ​​clarified that the latter was “clearly at fault”.
