Hamilton frustrated: “The Ferraris took out a Mercedes in two races”

Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) did not achieve a fifth consecutive success at Silverstone (Britain). The leader of the Silver Arrows experienced a day full of emotions on Sunday, between clashes, overtaking and anti-sporting innuendoes.

The Englishman, who had not got the best start when the lights went out, actually found himself going in the opposite direction after Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) hit the Mercedes that started from pole.

Left 18th, Lewis Hamilton then moved up the peloton like a TGV, until finding himself in third place, deciding to only make one pit stop, where the Red Bull and Kimi Räikkönen made two.

« These are interesting tactics on the part of Ferrari, but we will do what we can to challenge them in the next rounds”, slipped the four-time champion of F1 in the closed park. Asked about this sentence at a press conference, Lewis Hamilton showed some frustration. “All I can say is that the Ferraris have released a Mercedes over two races. »

Lewis Hamilton blames the Scuderia. « Valtteri (at the French Grand Prix two weeks ago) and I lost a lot of points in these types of incidents. Of course it's a race and I can't see behind me (what’s happening. Editor’s note). We must place ourselves in a better way, so as not to be under threat from the red cars, because who knows what they can do. »

But when the media asks him if he is worried about Ferrari's strategies, he responds immediately. “I'm not. » Has the war of small talk between the two rivals for the crown started or is it just a flash in the pan?
