Hamilton: 'I'm always fast'

Lewis Hamilton has been accumulating reliability problems since the start of the season. At the end of the first four Grands Prix won by Nico Rosberg, the three-time world champion is 43 points behind the Championship leader.

“The break after Russia was good. It gives you time to analyze the weekend and think about what we could have done differently. We learn from each experience and we move forward”, recognized the Briton. “I'm proud of the work of the guys in the garage. We had some tough times but they did a fantastic job. Every weekend the car is tuned to perfection. I just couldn't take full advantage of it. »

Despite the recurring problems with the energy recovery system which ruined these last two qualifications, Lewis Hamilton is still waiting for luck to turn in his favor.

« The team has worked tirelessly since returning from Russia and I am confident that they will have resolved the issues we encountered. I know that I am fast, I have known it since the first day of testing and I was able to prove it on the track when I had the track free and a car intact », emphasized the pilot Mercedes.
