Jules Bianchi remains in intensive care

A spokesperson for the Team Ferrari announced that Jules Bianchi's operation was completed shortly after 15 p.m. (Paris time). The Marussia driver was hospitalized urgently at the end of the Japanese Grand Prix after having hit a tow truck who evacuated the Sauber of Adrian Sutil in the curve which precedes the Degner corner (n°8).

Jules Bianchi should now be placed in intensive care following his operation after having been operated on for cerebral edema. The state of health of the Ferrari Driver Academy resident remains unknown. Mie Hospital said it would not make any statements this evening.
