Kobayashi hopes for better reliability at Sepang

Kamui Kobayashi had hopes of signing a first top ten for Caterham F1 Team last Sunday in Melbourne, but his race quickly ended after the Japanese shot straight at the first corner of the race, notably hitting the Williams by Felipe Massa. After study by the commissioners, they established that the Japanese driver was not responsible for the accident due to a fault in his car.

« We came back well in qualifying in Melbourne, showcasing our potential, but we had little chance of fighting without really doing any laps in the first two free practice sessions.", said Kamui Kobayashi. “We will be able to fully exploit the performances when we have a normal program on Friday and Saturday by being better prepared for the race. I would like to make sure I don't have the same brake problems that caused the accident at the first corner in Australia. Putting that aside, I think we have a good performance in the race. »
