Kobayashi: “I’m not a dreamer”

Kamui Kobayashi would he have been upset by his teammate's performance Sergio Perez in Malaysia? The Japanese achieved an impressive time to take third place just behind the drivers Mercedes taking advantage of the penalty of Lewis Hamilton (McLaren). The performance is particularly interesting for the driver of the Swiss team since the C31 has so far displayed a much better level in the race than in qualifying. Nevertheless, Kamui Kobayashi remains measured on his possibilities of results.

“I am really happy, the team has done a remarkable job”, commented the Japanese. ?For some time we have wanted to improve our performance in qualifying and I think it was a real improvement today. This third position offers great chances for tomorrow. However, I am not a dreamer and the objective remains the same as always: to score as many points as possible. We have a competitive car, which is normally economical with the tires, and I am confident for the race. »
