After Qatar, the pilots of Formula 1 are once again heading to a new track, that of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to take part in the 21st round of the season. And as in Qatar, it is Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) who will start in pole position, the 102nd of his career. The Briton is ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull). For the Dutchman, this 3rd place remains pending to know if he will be able to drive with the same gearbox as during qualifying. Following his accident on the last lap, if he has to change it, he will receive several penalty places. The officialization should come in a few moments. In 4th position, we find Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) who raised his head during qualifying after his accident in FP2. Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) completes the top 5.
Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri), who finished qualifying 2 thousandths behind the Mexican, finds himself in 6th position, ahead of Lando Norris (McLaren) and Yuki tsunoda (AlphaTauri). We find another Frenchman in the top 10 since Esteban Ocon (Alpine) will start from 9th place this Sunday, ahead of Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo).

Unable to progress to Q3, Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren) is only 11th on the starting grid. The Australian is ahead of two former world champions, since Kimi Räikkönen (Alfa Romeo) and Fernando Alonso (Alpine) are placed behind him. In 14th place is George Russell (Williams), then Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) and Nicholas latifi (Williams). The two pilots Aston Martin, Sebastian Vettel et Lance stroll, are ahead Mick Schumacher et Nikita mazepin (Haas), who bring up the rear.
