The next Concorde Agreements on track according to Chase Carey

Although he has been busy for several days managing the COVID-19 crisis and trying to answer the questions and concerns of the teams and followers of the world championship, Chase Carey is nonetheless continuing his discussions with the bosses in order to obtain faster the ratification of the new Concorde Agreements which will govern the Formula 1 as of 2021.

" It's going well, affirmed the President of the F1 Group during a meeting with potential investors. After the ratification of the new regulations for the 2021 season, we are at an advanced stage with the teams regarding the new Concorde Agreements which will strengthen their economic model and promote the growth of the sport. »

Obviously, given the sensitive nature of the discussions, the lively American wanted to remain discreet about the terms of these agreements.

“It's best to wait until it's signed before saying more, but we feel like we're achieving the goals we set out to make the sport healthier.” These new agreements represent significant progress in terms of costs, revenues, redistribution and others…”

It is in the spring that Carey hopes to be able to reveal them. Patience.
