Just look at the reactions of Spanish journalists and photographers every time Fernando Alonso crosses the finish line in first position to realize that something is happening.
On the other side of the Pyrenees, newspapers and sports websites are also flooding their pages with articles concerning Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso, the hero of an entire people with Rafael Nadal. “Alonso fires Bahrain” headlined our Iberian colleague Jesus Balseiro on the AS website. Same great visibility on the home page for Marca, with a quote from Fernando inviting everyone to stay calm. What if, seventeen years later...?
