Magnussen looking for other options to run

Kevin Magnussen was the big loser of the off-season at McLaren F1 who chose to demote the Dane to the position of reserve pilot following the arrival of Fernando Alonso. The rookie struggled to compare with Jenson Button with a 71-point gap in favor of the 2009 world champion.

Jan Magnussen's son understands McLaren's decision even if the situation remains difficult to accept. “I think I had a good start to the season (2nd place at the Australian GP). I want to race, even if it's not in F1. It's not good to be away from competitions for a season, especially when testing is very limited in F1. I don't know what the best option is. L'IndyCar is one, but there are others…”
