Felipe Massa kept the best time of the day in Barcelona testing. Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel complete the top three.

Massa maintains the best time of the day in Barcelona

Felipe Massa (Williams) remained the fastest of the day at the Barcelona (Spain) tests. With his time of 1'19''726 achieved this morning, the driver of the FW40 is ahead of the Red Bull RB13 Daniel Ricciardo who scored his performance on ultra-soft tires while the Brazilian preferred super-soft tires.

Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) completed the top three by approaching to within 6 thousandths of the Red Bull while the SF70H driver was racing on soft tyres. With Felipe Massa, the four-time world champion was the most diligent on the track.

Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) finished 4th after giving way to his teammate Valtteri Bottas which completes the top five. If the Finn finished half a second behind the Briton, he was much more present on the track.

Esteban Ocon (Force India) also completed a series of laps on the Catalunya circuit. The driver of the VJM10 ranks 6th ahead of the Renault RS 17 Nico Hulkenberg who benefited from a new Power Unit at the break after having sensor problems in the morning with Jolyon Palmer, last in the standings.

Kevin Magnussen (Haas) follows in 8th place ahead of Toro Rosso STR12 by Daniil Kvyat. The Russian finishes in front Stoffel Vandoorne's McLaren MCL32 who was able to return to the track in the afternoon after his team had to change the Power Unit.

Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) took over from his teammate Pascal Wehrlein and finished between the German and Jolyon Palmer.
