Massa continues training

Felipe Massa could return to the circuits of Formula 1 earlier than expected. If his participation in the Brazilian GP is excluded, that of the Abu Dhabi GP is entirely possible. Stefano Domenicali, Team manager of the Team, did not exclude this possibility and the succession of sessions in the A1GP simulator from the beginning of October can confirm this hypothesis. For Ferrari, the advantage is to reassure itself of the driver?s rediscovered competitiveness before 2010.

This Wednesday, Felipe Massa completed a second test session at the wheel of the Allinsport simulator in Modena. The Brazilian was assisted by his track engineer, Rob Smedley and engineer Guiliano Salvi. Felipe Massa drove again on the Barcelona track, before turning on his favorite track, that of Interlagos, where he won twice in his career, in front of his home crowd.

This Thursday, Felipe Massa is in Maranello, where he will participate in a chat with Ferrari fans from 12 p.m. Tomorrow Friday, he will be in Paris for medical examinations under the control of the FIA. He will then return to Italy and it will probably be on Monday, according to Ferrari, that he will return to the track aboard the F2007.

After weeks of rest to recover from his accident during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, Felipe Massa is following a very rhythmic program. If all the tests are conclusive, the Brazilian could do a full-scale test session at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 1.
