New York set to host F1 in 2013

According to the Wall Street Journal, the USA will once again host the F1 starting next season with the Austin GP in Texas. But Bernie Ecclestone also wanted to enter an event in New York and a second race should therefore be added for 2013. The event should be an urban race contested in the state of New Jersey with the buildings of New York as a backdrop.

An announcement will be made by Chris Christie, the governor of New Jersey, this Tuesday to formalize the news and give the details of the project, of which few elements have filtered for the moment. The date of the event could be set for June after the Canadian GP.
