Ricciardo celebrates his 3rd podium in a row at Spa

We had a great opportunity to take second place with Lewis (Hamilton) which started from the bottom of the grid. Victory remains the main objective, but Nico (Rosberg) was as fast as expected and we couldn't do better. »

“A lot happened at the start, added the pilot Red Bull. I hit some debris which damaged my front wing, but the red flag (caused by Kevin Magnussen's accident) allowed my team to fix it. The car was affected until this moment. It went calmly afterwards as far as I was concerned. »

Daniel Ricciardo hopes to further consolidate his third place in the Championship next weekend at the Italian Grand Prix even if the Australian who is ahead Sebastian Vettel of 23 points is not very optimistic for the fast Monza circuit. “This will be the most difficult track for us but we are looking forward to Singapore (September 18) and Suzuka (October 9).”, said Daniel Ricciardo.
