Ricciardo finally reveals Abiteboul tattoo

We were waiting for it, here it is! After several months of waiting, the tattoo of Cyril Abiteboul, the result of a bet made with Daniel Ricciardo in 2019, was finally made public. After the publication of a photo of the former main team of Renault en F1 a few days ago, the Australian, now a pilot McLaren, published a video where he retraces the tattoo session of the former leader of Losange.

During the 12 minutes of viewing, we can see Cyril Abiteboul showing a drawing of an old Renault logo as the first idea for his tattoo. After discussion with Daniel Ricciardo, the Frenchman finally opted for a mixture of the upper part of the logo and a honeycomb, an animal from which the Australian pilot inherited the nickname “The Honey Badger”.
As a reminder, Daniel Ricciardo won this bet during the 2021 Eifel Grand Prix where he took 3rd place behind Max Verstappen and the winner Lewis Hamilton.
