Romain Grosjean poorly rewarded

After a very difficult qualification, we awaited the reaction of Romain Grosjean race. Very quickly back in the points thanks to the intervention of the safety car on the first lap, Grosjean was in the points but the end of the race was not favorable to the Lotus driver.

“The start of the race was great. The strategy, however, was not optimal. The fight with Button was very close but very fun. It was much less funny with Jean-Eric Vergne. It broke my flat bottom and my front wing. I’m disappointed because I lost eighth place.” indicated the Frenchman. Pastor Maldonado took advantage of the Franco-French battle to get back into the points and finish in 10th place, following his penalty for speeding in the pits, before recovering ninth place following Vergne's penalty.
