Rosberg: “I am extremely motivated”

After two mixed grand prix, Mercedes GP finally gets its head above water during the Chinese Grand Prix. Nico Rosberg finished in 5th position, as for Michael Schumacher, he finished 8th.

Nico Rosberg led the grand prix for 14 laps. However, close to running out of fuel, the young German was forced to slow down. This mishap certainly cost him a final podium. “Sunday's race was truly one of the most exciting grands prix I have raced, He says. It took a little time after the race to swallow my disappointment. I had high hopes of finishing on the podium, after leading a quarter of the race. However, I can't blame anyone on the team for being a little short on fuel. This is a lesson that we must all learn together. We must be happy to have taken a step forward in China, which was achieved thanks to the hard work of the whole team. »

The Mercedes driver will now enjoy a well-deserved break to find some calm in the South of France, before diving back into the deep end of the European season.
“After the Easter weekend I will travel to the Brackley factory to meet the team and get an overview of what we have learned from the first three races and what we can do before the European season begins. begins, specifies Nico Rosberg. We all want to make further improvements and we work really hard to achieve this goal. I am extremely motivated. »
