Sebastian Vettel joins the greats of F1

Sebastian Vettel wins his 4th world title at the end of the Indian Grand Prix which he won for the 3rd consecutive year. The pilot Red Bull joins the very exclusive club made up of Michael Schumacher (7 titles), Juan-Manuel Fangio (5 titles) and Alain Prost (4 titles), equaling the Professor's record at only 26 years old. By dominating the discipline since the start of the F1, the German knew that the title could no longer escape him.

After celebrating his coronation with a burn on the track, the resident of the Milton Keynes team could not contain his emotion on the podium. “Thank you for the public who gave me a wonderful welcome. It’s a shame not to ride here next year. This season has been incredible as has the spirit of the team which has been great throughout the year. There car delivered phenomenal performances again today. My engineer asked me to carry out the usual procedures, but I wanted to do this burn to celebrate my 4th title in a row. We won the last races, but these victories were not so easy to achieve. I am proud to join this exclusive group of champions such as Schumacher, Fangio and Alain Prost. This is undoubtedly one of the happiest days of my life. F1 seemed so far away when I was little. Access to F1 seemed impossible to me. I went through all the stages starting with the karting. I always tried to learn as much as possible. I feel very lucky to ride for Red Bull, our statistics over the last four years are incredible. »
