Will the 61st edition of the French GP still be dominated by the Mercedes ? Lewis Hamilton won a new pole ahead of his teammate Valtteri Bottas. Ferrari will bet on Charles Leclerc 3th, Sebastian Vettel only starting from 7th place. Last year, the Briton won the race after starting from first position.
On the French side, Pierre Gasly (Red Bull) will start from 9th place with soft tires, while his direct rivals will be on mediums. Romain Grosjean (Haas) will start from 17th place.
