Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) is obviously the big favorite for pole position. The Briton was the fastest man in every session, and even had the luxury of outpacing his teammate Valtteri Bottas by several tenths.

However, we should not rule out the Ferrari of the fight for the best time. Back on Friday, Sebastian Vettel like Kimi Räikkönen have come considerably closer of the Silver Arrows during the last free practice session on Saturday morning.
La weather forecasts could finally play a significant role. Drops of rain fell at the end of FP3, and even if the forecast does not call for showers, the clouds remain threatening around the Suzuka circuit.
