Sutil close to the feat

Adrian Sutil almost repeated the performance of Giancarlo Fisichella, then with Force India, who took pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix. One last quick round of Lewis Hamilton deprived the German driver of the first pole position of his career, at Monza. Despite everything, Sutil is over the moon. “ It?s incredible and so good, especially after the Spa weekend, released the driver at the end of the qualifying session. It's a great moment. Since the start of the weekend, the car has been incredible and we have done a lot of work to get there. »

While Giancarlo Fisichella, now at Ferrari, did not do better than 14th, Adrian Sutil was able to prove, once again, that the car of Force India was made for fast circuits. “ We continue to improve and be competitive. The feeling is really different at the moment behind the wheel of the car, because I know it gives me a fighting chance. »

Second on the starting grid, Adrian Sutil will certainly want to finish the race on the podium. But, surrounded by two drivers with the SREC (kinetic energy recovery system) and followed by the Brawn GP drivers, fighting for the drivers' and manufacturers' titles, Adrian Sutil will have his work cut out for him at the start of the Italian Grand Prix.
