Verstappen on Leclerc: “What more does he have to do to get a penalty? »

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) would have wanted to fly the Honda colors high on Japanese soil. Alas, all his hopes of podiums were dashed from the first hectometer of the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, where a collision with Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) sent him into the grass:

Back at the bottom of the rankings, the Dutchman quickly threw in the towel due to irreversible damage. « I had a really good start for once, he explained. Then Charles just walked into me. The entire right side of my car was damaged. What more does he have to do to get a penalty? »

Max Verstappen reacts to the absence of sanctions during the race after this accident. “I like the manly race, but this wasn't it, (it was) just irresponsible driving in the second turn.

It's a long race so there was no need to take so many risks so early! »  In the championship, the darling of Red Bull is joined on equal points by Sebastian Vettel in fourth place.
