19 GT3s expected at the 24 Hours of Dubai

They will constitute the opening of the 2021 motor racing season, hopefully more normal than 2020. The 24 Hours of Dubai will be held on January 15 and 16, 2021 on behalf of the 24h Series with a high field. Among the fifty entrants, there are 19 GT3s including teams accustomed to playing leading roles in major races in the category.

Audi will be particularly represented. Title holders with Christopher Haase, Frédéric Vervisch, Dimitri Parhofer and Rik Breukers, the Car Collection Motorsport team will defend their crown. Its runner-up in 2020, the Belgian WRT team, pillar of GT3 for the German manufacturer, will enter two cars in Dubai.

Attempto Racing, regular at GT World Challenge Europe and official representative of Audi at Spa will also be there.

At Porsche, we will find a car for GPX Racing, vice-champion Endurance in GT World and winner of the 2020 Coppa Florio. Dinamic Motorsport, winner of the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring, will be making the trip. Herberth Motorsport is entering three cars.

Mercedes will trust Haupt Racing, winner of a sprint round in GT World this season, which will field two cars.

The Lamborghini of the Grasser Racing Team, winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in GTD, should join the battle for victory and let's not forget the famous Dodge Viper GTE-R from Zakspeed.

On the French side, Racetivity will run a Mercedes-AMG GT3. Finally, note the participation of an official Vortex 1.0, a French car in the GTX category and the entry of a BMW M4 GT4 for 3Y Technology.
