24 Hours of Nürburgring - Phoenix Racing will enter an R8 LMS

If Phoenix Racing will not have official Audi status on the double round of the clock on the Nordschleife, an Audi R8 LMS GT3 will be entered by the German team.

24 Hours of Nürburgring – Phoenix Racing will field an R8 LMS

When Audi Sport's commitment to the next 24 Hours of Nürburgring (May 25-28) was revealed, one of the surprises was to see Phoenix Racing, victorious in 2012 and 2014 with the brand with the rings, without official support from the sports division of the German firm and replaced in this role by Team Land.

Ernst Moser's team will however be taking part in the Green Hell, since an Audi R8 LMS GT3 will be lined up for a crew made up of Frank Stippler, Mike Rockenfeller, Dennis Busch and Nicolaj Møller Madsen.

Phoenix Racing will also contest the first two rounds of the VLN, and will also be entered on the Blancpain GT Series Asia front with two cars. The China GT and TCR Asia will also be on the program in 2017.
