24H Series – An RCZ in Michel Vaillant colors

The famous comic book hero Michel Vaillant is in the spotlight this year 2015. Self also dedicated a file to him in No. 2024 dated August 12. After appearing during the last 24 Hours of Spa on the #4 ROAL Motorsport BMW Z3 GT9 entrusted to Alex Zanardi, Timo Glock and Bruno Spengler, it is with Peugeot that Michel Vaillant will return to the track.

A RCZ Cup, fielded by the Milan Compétition team (known for being notably entered in the RCZ Racing Cup or in the Clio Cup France as part of the GT Tour), will be in action this weekend in Catalonia, during the 24 Hours of Barcelona, ​​an event counting for the 24H Series championship.

At the wheel of the Lionne with its specific livery, we will find a crew composed of Jean-Louis Dauger, Denis Gibaud, Jérôme Maudet, and from PSA boss Carlos Tavares. The latter, who will take part in his third 24 Hours of Barcelona, ​​regularly competes in motorsport, notably in the Rencontres Peugeot Sport where he was seen racing last year with Stéphane Peterhansel and Cyril Despres, and in the Tourism Trophy. Endurance for three seasons (he is currently at the top of the Trophy 2 category).

The RCZ, which will be badged with the No. 119, will be entered in category A2, where nine cars will be at the start, out of a total of 74 present on the grid.
