AGS Events wins race 3 in Nogaro!

The weekend had started very badly. Having started three times on pole in the Am category, AGS Events was unable to secure a podium. Well placed in Pro-Am, it had until then failed to achieve success. But perseverance pays off. At the wheel of theAston Martin New generation Vantage, Mike Parisy and Nicolas Gomar won the third race at Nogaro.

Nicolas Gomar built the team's success in his first stint. Sixth overall, he broke away from his opponents in Pro-Am, led by reigning champions Fabien Michal and Grégory Guilvert. At the refueling, he took advantage of the ten seconds penalty for the Silvers to find himself at the top of the general classification while the Saintéloc crew was stuck in traffic.

Because it was the Silvers who animated the debates in the first part of the race.

The Espace Bienvenue BMW once again started in front in the hands of Ricardo Van der Ende and Benjamin Lessennes. Behind the Ginetta quickly came under pressure from Thomas Drouet in his Mercedes AKKA-ASP n°88 which found the opening after ten minutes, followed by Julien Piguet on the Toyota GR Supra from Toyota Gazoo Racing by CMR.

Meanwhile, Fabien Lavergne began his exceptional climb from thirteenth to fifth place in barely ten minutes. Finally a great day for CD Sport.

The Frenchman ended up joining the battle of the first four, united in less than two seconds. Lavergne had the luxury of switching to Ginetta G55 at the end of the stint.

The second part of the race was less lively, apart from the puncture of the Thomas Drouet-Paul Petit duo two minutes from the finish, depriving them of the podium. Mike Parisy calmly managed his lead to impose the Aston Martin. He finished ahead of the Espace Bienvenue BMW, undefeated in Silver and which took advantage of its straight line advantage. Edouard Cauhaupé and Fabien Lavergne finished third overall and second in Silver with the CD Sport Mercedes which was reborn from its ashes, ahead of Grégory Guilvert and Fabien Michal, second in the Pro-AM category.

Aurélien Panis and Julien Piguet complete the Silver Cup podium and the Vincent Beltoise-Rodolphe Wallgren duo that of the Pro-AM category.

In the Am-Cup, Erwan Bastard and Sylvain Caroff won at the wheel of the ANS Motorsport Ginetta ahead of Christophe Hamon and Pacal Huteau in the Full Motorsport Audi. Note that the seven brands present in GT4 this year are in the first seven places.

The classification of race 3.
