Alpine celebrates its champions

The brand with the arrow awards its Oscars

This Friday January 27 at the Studio Alpine of Boulogne, the competition headquarters of the brand with the A arrow, under the baton of the brothers Philippe and Patrick Sinault, had entrusted all the champions of its A110 formulas for a gala evening.

Bruno Famin, Director ofAlpine Racing, opened the evening by recalling the notable moments of an exceptional 2022 season which saw Alpine F1 take fourth place in the World Championship. In Endurance, l’équipe de Philippe Sinault a conclu la saison au deuxième rang derrière l’invincible armada Toyota, remportant 2 courses dont les 1000km de Sebring.

The director ofAlpine France, Philippe Quetaud, subsequently announced more than 3000 orders forAlpine A110 over the last 12 months, a pace that the Dieppe factory is struggling to keep up with, but the abundance of good cannot do any harm. A city car and an SUV will soon enrich the range of a manufacturer whose rebirth can only be welcomed.

In Trophy Alpine Elf Rally, Fabrice Bect wins the Gentleman general classification, offering a new trophy to the FJ Team of Jean and Jérôme Galpin. Grégory Fontalba wins the general classification at the end of a season of which he savors every moment: “A great season with lots of podiums, even if we would like more victories. This is a first for us with Alpine and consistency paid off to win the Trophée au Coeur de France, a rally that we didn't know. Lots of discoveries and lots of emotions this year!”

Make way for triumphant youth in Alpine Elf Europa Cup where the junior prize list is simply that of the general classification. Lucas Frayssinet, 2022 Champion, did not fail to salute the performances of his runners-up Simon Tirman and Paul Cauhaupe and was keen to associate the Chazel team with his crown: “It’s been something this season (laughs). With Louis Chazel, who more than my manager is a real friend, we set up the project aiming for a final podium and thanks to the regularity it swung to our side rather than that of Simon. I'm very happy, we had a great time with the whole team! »

All the competitors having clearly announced their wish to continue in 2023, the Alpine A110 Cup and Rallye will still have some great opportunities to roar.
