Alpine and CMR achieve the double in qualifying at Spa

The qualifications of the France championship FFSAGT at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium saw theAlpine A110 n°36 – CMR of the Jean – Lémeret duo take the two poles at the end of the session held this morning in the Ardennes.

The first session was dominated by stage local Stéphane Lémeret (Alpine A110 n°36 – CMR), author of a time in the final moments in 2'31"947, the only time under 2'32" per lap.

The Belgian, teammate of Pierre-Alexandre Jean, was ahead of Matthew George by more than three tenths (Aston Martin Vantage GT4 n°44 – Generation AMR Super Racing), invited to this event, and officiating alone in the seat of his car.

Robert Consani (Alpine A110 n°8 – Team SpeedCar) places a second A110 in the top 3 by nine tenths and precedes Alain Ferté (Alpine A110 n°35 – Bodemer Auto), clocked at 0″931, when Rudy Servol hoists his Alpine A110 n°111 – CMR in fifth position.

Bad session on the other hand for the No. 8 Audi R4 LMS GT42 – Saintéloc Racing of the championship leaders Fabien Michal – Grégory Guilvert, who did not set a time. Note that the polemen Lémeret – Jean will have to stop for ten more seconds in the pits, given their level of performance.

In Am, the Ginetta n°22 – K-Worx of the Hutteau – Simonet tandem takes pole.

This first qualification was also neutralized by a red flag, following the loss of a door for the Ginetta n°84 – CMR of Gilles Lallement, an element then hit on the track by a Porsche.

Bis repeated in the second qualification, since theAlpine A110 n°36 – CMR, this time entrusted to Pierre-Alexandre Jean, further panics the time in 2'30"554, almost seven tenths ahead of Vincent Beltoise (Alpine A110 n°919 – Mirage Racing) and Jim Pla (Mercedes-AMG GT4 n°87 – AKKA-ASP).

In Am, the n°72 Ginetta – Schatz-Lestienne Racing of Erwan Bastard and Sylvain Caroff dominated the session. The Ginetta n°84 – CMR once again lost its door, without causing any neutralization this time.

The first race will start at 15:30 p.m. this Friday and can be followed live and in full on our website.
