Aurélien Panis and Fabien Barthez united at AKKA-ASP

Came very close to the title in 2018 with the Mercedes-AMG GT4 by Jim Pla and Jean-Luc Beaubelique, the AKKA-ASP Team will try to regain the national crown this season in FFSAGT, with a crew that looks great on paper.

Aurélien Panis will in fact be associated with Fabien Barthez on the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT16, in Matmut colors and operated by Jérôme Policand's team. Barthez knows the championship well having been crowned in 2013 with Morgan Moullin-Traffort, already with ASP, at the time of Ferrari 458 Italia GT3.

Panis is now one of the leaders of the WTCR touring scene, having competed in the junior series car up to Formula V8 3.5. Several test sessions will be on the program for the training of Rabastens with the Nogaro Easter Cups (April 21-22), with runs planned in Nogaro then in Lédenon next week.
