24 Hours of Spa: Interview Vincent Vosse

You have already won the event as a driver, now you do the same with the shirt of the boss of the Audi Sport Team WRT. What does this mean to you?
The 24 Hours of Spa was a very important race for Audi. After our disappointment last year as a private team, we took on this task of representing Audi very meticulously. Everyone worked together for an entire year. Thanks to Audi Sport and the Belgian Audi Club. Everyone worked tirelessly to make it work.

It was the biggest victory for your team, which is still young. Was this additional motivation?
The victory is fantastic for us, as a newly founded team. We are proud. It's not just the efforts made during the week of the event, but also months of work. It was difficult, but the team always remained motivated. I'm really proud of what we accomplished. The age of the WRT is measured in months, not yet in years. This fantastic result is a reward for the team and for us as a family. Now we aim to achieve further success with the R8 LMS. We drive in Belgium, in Blancpain Endurance Series, in the FIA GT3 European Championship and in France (GT Tour, editor's note).

The test, in itself, is of particular importance. However, that?s not all, it was also about scoring points in the championship (Blancpain Endurance Series, editor's note)?
It goes without saying that this victory alone represents something very special. It was a hotly contested race with all the international opponents you could dream of in the GT3 category. But we are not only delighted by this victory. The winner Greg Franchi, but also Filipe Albuquerque, Bert Longin and Stéphane Ortelli, who finished fourth, scored big points for the Blancpain Endurance Series. At the same time, our main rivals leave without a point. We look forward to the final two races of the series.
