  • Despite a puncture five hours after the start and a scare in the early morning, the Ferrari 296 GT3 No. 30 of the Frikadelli Racing Team led by Earl Bamber, Nicky Catsburg, David Pittard and Felipe Fernandez Laser won the 51st edition of the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in style.
  • This is the first overall victory in the German event for an Italian manufacturer, and de facto the first for Ferrari.
  • A success achieved in style since the victorious car also established the new distance record for the event with 162 laps covered.
  • There is a French part in this victory, because let us remember that the Italian GT is assembled by ORECA.
  • At the checkered flag, the #30 beat the #4 ROWE Racing BMW M3 GT98 (Marco Wittmann, Sheldon van der Linde, Dries Vanthoor, Maxime Martin).
  • Part of pole position, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°4 from Team Bilstein completed the podium with Raffaele Marciello, Luca Stolz, Philip Ellis and Edoardo Mortara.

it is unfortunately the reflection of France in disappearance, no more grand prix, no more WRC rally, motor sport abandoned, I am 73 years old and experienced the good years of motor sport and they are far away, very far !

There wasn't a single French car at the start, it's very sad, not even one Alpine.
