4 teams and 10 drivers in search of titles

At the end of an extremely competitive season, there are 10 drivers and four teams who can still claim world crowns. Aston Martin, Ford, Lamborghini and Nissan took turns on the first step of the podium. The final round, on the Argentinian circuit of San Luis, therefore promises to be extremely tight.

Last year, the French team Hexis AMR had been untouchable, winning both races. This season the Nîmes team, still in the running for the titles, hopes to be able to do the same to keep its hopes of coronation alive. For this, she will count on her Aston Martin DB9s entrusted to her usual duos Stef Dusseldorp-Clivio Piccione and Andrea Piccini-Christian Hohenadel. In the Teams classification, Philippe Dumas's troops are not, however, favorites, since third in the general classification with respectively 29 and 21 points behind Young Driver (Aston Martin) and JRM (Nissan GT-R). Fourth with 13 points less than Hexis on the clock, All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport (Lamborghini Murcielago R-SV) still has its say, knowing that a maximum of 57 points can be gleaned by a team in one meeting.

On the Driver side, Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm (Nissan GT-R n°23) are favored by the forecasts, even if they will carry 30 kg of ballast. The German pair are 11 points ahead of Stefan Mücke and Darren Turner (Aston Martin n°8) who are on an extremely positive dynamic after their success in the championship race in Beijing. With 30 points behind, the matter looks more complicated for Markus Winkelhock and Marc Basseng (Lamborghini Murcielago R-SV n°37), and for Christian Hohenadel-Andrea Piccini (Aston Martin DB9 n°3), since ?a driver can score a maximum of 33 points during a weekend. Tomas Enge and Alex Müller, with 31 points less than the leaders, will have to count on a real massacre to hope to be crowned.
