Blancpain: United displays its ambitions

United Autosport has revealed the first crew that will drive one of its McLaren MP4-12C GT3 during the next Blancpain season Endurance Series. David Brabham, double ALMS champion with Highcroft Racing and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2009 with Peugeot , is coming off a season spent in Sumo Power GT where he competed in FIA GT1 with a Nissan GT-R. “I am very excited to join United Autosport”, comments the Australian. “I was very impressed by their performances. Briton Matt Bell will be the youngest competitor in the crew (22 years old) but has already managed to distinguish himself with United Autosport in the British GT Championship GT3 by placing third in the Championship with a victory to his credit. “This will be my third season with United. My relationships with them make my job easier. The Blancpain Endurance Series has had phenomenal success since its first season and this seems to be evolving even further in 2012.”
