Michael Bartels, Franck Kechele and Nico Verdonck take their first victory in Blancpain Endurance Series in Navarre with the Ferrari F458 from Vita4One. The n°1 is 17 seconds ahead of the Audi R8 LMS of Stéphane Ortelli, Bert Longin and Filipe Albuquerque.
Stéphane Ortelli started from pole position, but the Audi driver was caught by Franck Kechele on the 17th lap. From then on, the Vita4One Ferrari set a sufficient pace to no longer be worried for the rest of the race.
The podium is completed by the Porsche 997 GT3 R AutOrlando of Gianluca Roda, Raffaele Gianmaria and Paolo Rubert, winners of the first round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at Monza. The AutOrlando trio retains the lead in the Championship thanks to this 3rd place.
The Pro-Am Cup category was won by the #458 SOFREV Auto Sport Promotion Ferrari 20 Italia of Ludovic Badey, Franck Morel and Jean-Luc Beaubelique. Georges Cabannes, winner of the GT3 Gentleman Trophy at Monza, repeated his feat in Navarre with Fabien Michal at the wheel of the No. 31 Ruffier Racing Lamborgini.
The GT4 Cup was won by the No. 61 Lotus Evora from the Lotus Driving Academy driven by Freddy Barth, Rolf Maritz and Lorenz Frey.
