Cao Fei and John Baldessari will create the BMW Art Cars

BMW announced that the Chinese Cao Fei and the American John Baldessari had been selected by a jury of experts to create two Art Cars in 2016 based on the M6 ​​GT3.

The Bavarian brand will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the project launched with the artist Alexander Calder who was invited to create a specific livery for a 3.0 CSL by the Frenchman Hervé Poulain in collaboration with Jochen Neerpasch, former managing director of BMW Motorsport.

The two BMW M6 GT3 Art Cars, notably eligible for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (Germany) or the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), will be presented in 2017.
