CQ: Double Lamborghini, Baguette 3rd

Lamborghini confirmed the good performances at the start of the weekend by achieving a double in the qualifying race in Navarre. The No. 38 started on pole ahead of the No. 37i and the No. 41 of Bertand Baguette.

The #38 Lamborghini of Markus Winkelhock / Marc Basseng took advantage of its pole position in the qualifying race in Navarre to take victory ahead of the #37 of Dominik Schwager / Nicky Pastorelli, who also finished in the same position as on the grid.

The victorious crew takes the lead in the Championship, five points ahead of the Lucas Luhr / Michael Krumm crew, ninth in the race at the wheel of the No. 23 Nissan GT-R. The All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport team is now only seven points behind the Championship lead currently occupied by Hexis AMR.

For his first race in FIA GT1, Bertrand Baguette reached the podium. Racing alongside Maxime Martin in the No. 41 Matech Ford GT, the crew moved up from seventh position on the grid to secure the podium in the qualifying race.
