FIA GT – Le Reiter on pole with Rosina and Basseng at Navarra

The FIA GT Series Superpole at Navarra was won by Stefan Rosina who completed the lap of the Spanish circuit in 1'49"595 at the wheel of the Reiter Engineering Lamborghini LP560-4 which he shares with Marc Basseng. In wet conditions, the Slovak beat the first two Audis from Team WRT at the last minute. The No. 8 R13 LMS ultra driven by Edward Sandström (and Frank Stippler) only failed 65 thousandths from pole, while the No. 12 of Oliver Jarvis (accompanied by Niki Mayr-Melnhof) follows at a hundredth! The second line is completed by the McLaren on which Sébastien evolves Loeb thanks to a great performance by his teammate Alvaro Parente.

The Championship leaders will have to recover in the qualifying race since Stéphane Ortelli (associated with Laures Vanthoor) only qualified the No. 11 in seventh position. The Belgian team's crew will have to take advantage of the Audi of the Novadriver at the head of the Pro-Am category, qualified in fifth place by Michael Ammermüller (with Cesar Campanico), as well as the BMW of the Team Brazil which will start from the third row of the grid thanks to Caca Bueno (associated with Allam Khodair).
