FIA GT – Reiter beats Team WRT at Zolder

Peter Kox managed to take the lead from the first corner at the start of the Championship race in Zolder. The driver of the Lamborghini LP560-4 from the Reiter team overtook the Audi R8 LMS ultra of Stéphane Ortelli who started on pole after the victory of Team WRT in the qualifying race. The Dutchman left the wheel of the No. 24 to his teammate Stefan Rosina after he had opened up a five-second gap with the Belgian team's car. Local driver Laurens Vanthoor did everything to regain the lead but ultimately lost the lead by less than half a second. Edward Sandström and Frank Stippler placed a second Team WRT Audi on the podium by taking the last step.

The Sebastian Loeb Racing takes fourth place with the McLaren MP4-12C of Mike Parisy and Andreas Zuber after battling with the #13 Audi for a place on the podium. Niki Mayr-Melnhof and René Rast complete the top five in the No. 8 R12 LMS ultra after a great comeback from the German who notably managed to overcome the Audi of Anthony Kumpen, driver of Phoenix Racing who still rises to sixth place with Enzo Ide. On the other hand, Sébastien Loeb and Alvaro Parente had a disappointing weekend following their disqualification. The drivers of the #9 McLaren were only able to take 13th place after starting from the back of the grid.
