GT Tour – Team Duqueine launches into the race

Soheil Ayari will have a double hat in 2014 in the French GT FFSA Championship within Duqueine Engineering. In addition to piloting the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3, he will be the technical director of the team. After a 2013 season with Team Sofrev-ASP, Soheil will play alongside Jean-Claude Police, a GT Tour regular. “It’s a great opportunity to ride with Soheil in a young and talented team. Gilles is a brilliant business leader, I know he has a lot of ambition for his team. » explains the latter.

The team will also field a second car with Gilles Duqueine (who will compete in the Coupe de France GT) at the wheel assisted by Savoyard Philippe Colançon, who notably passed through the Porsche Carrera Cup. ?I am very admiring of the entrepreneurial spirit that drives Gilles Duqueine, declares Colançon. He has joined forces in his team with the AYARI brothers who are from Aix like me, we know each other very well, and this will be an important cohesive factor in the team. »  Cyrus Ayari and Yann Belhomme will lead the new formation which will make its debut during the opening of the Championship on the weekend of April 27 at Le Mans, on the Bugatti circuit.
