GT1: Aston Martin wins in Abu Dhabi

Monegasque Clivio Piccione and Dutchman Stef Dusseldorp won the inaugural round of the FIA ​​GT1 world championship in Abu Dhabi yesterday. The drivers of the French team Hexis Racing, who shared the wheel of the No. 9 DB3, are delighted with their performance this weekend.

I have to say a big thank you to the team, they made this victory possible today, we had an impressive pit stop, the car was good throughout the weekend. This is the best start we could have made. A lot happened at the front of the race, but my goal was to stay as close as possible and avoid problems. Everything went as planned. We knew the pit stop was good. Afterwards, Stef drove well until the end and I have to say congratulations to her for her first race in GT1. »

We had a huge pit stop and all I had to do was finish the race, which wasn't so easy because the Nissans were incredible behind.
