GT1: Luhr and Krumm win the title

The #23 JRM Nissan GT-R driven by Lucas Luhr and Michael Krumm started from pole position ahead of the #11 Exim Bank Team China Corvette of Francesco Pastorelli and Yelmer Buurman. The latter managed to take the advantage as soon as the lights went out to offer the Chinese team a splendid victory won after his teammate Francesco Pastorelli managed to resist the attacks of Lucas Luhr, who returned to the wheels of the Corvette. All-Inkl.com places a Lamborghini on the podium, but it is the #37 driven by Dominik Schwager and Nicky Pastorelli.

The 6th place of Markus Winkelhock and Marc Basseng (Lamborghini n°38) is insufficient to allow the All-Inkl.com crew to maintain their title chances. The Drivers' Championship thus returns to the German duo who were almost assured of being titled after the withdrawal of Stefan Mücke and Darren Turner (Aston Martin DB9 n°8 from Young Driver AMR). The German team now only has a 3-point lead over the JRM and will have a hard time maintaining the lead in the Teams Championship with just one car to compete in the Championship race which will close the season. Bad day for Hexis AMR. The best Aston Martin from Nîmes, that of Piccione-Dusseldorp, finished eighth, with the Hohenadel-Piccini pair having to settle for 14th position.

The Championship race which will close the FIA GT1 season will be contested tomorrow from 17:45 p.m. The event will be visible live on AUTOhebdo.fr.
